Junior Football Update – U9 to U12’s
School holidays are nearly here so we thought it might be timely to provide an update to the Welcome to Season 2017 information.
The first match is on the weekend of the 22 April (the first weekend after school goes back), so in the meantime, please ensure your player
- is registered via http://barwonheadsfnc.org.au/membership . Remember to register with Sporting Pulse and Barwon Heads FNC – both links are available from this site
- has BHFNC shorts and sock. These can be purchased from De Grandi sport. Socks are royal blue without the light blue trim around the top, and shorts are royal blue with the logos down the sides
- has a customised mouth guard for your player. These can be fitted by a dentist or bought over the counter. There is a great deal for BHFNC players from a local dentist Coastal Dentures
If your player wears Skins or other compression garments please ensure they are white, blue or beige (only).
Please note: if players are not registered and / or do not have mouth guards, they will not be able to play. We can’t make any exceptions here, so please register and source a mouth guard.
As we get closer to the season, your Team Managers will confirm specific team communication methods – potentially using Team App.
From a BHFNC Club perspective we are really trying to develop a more integrated and connected approach. Subsequently the primary source of information for events and updates is the club website: http://barwonheadsfnc.org.au/
We update this regularly with a range of relevant info so make please sure you bookmark this page and check it regularly. Some great information for Juniors is on the site including our first ever episode of GullTalk with Cam Don and also our Junior Football Charter, AFL Barwon Junior Handbook and Code of Conduct. You can also follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
