Hello and welcome to Junior Netball for 2018.  After a really successful 2017 we can’t wait to get started.

Teams are just about finalised, and I am very excited to be getting an email out to you this week with which team your daughter will be playing for.

We really pride ourselves on being a united community and girls are so lucky to be given so many opportunities to develop and upskill with our amazing coaches along with a committee who are dedicated to your girls and the season.

We are super excited to have the following coaches for the 2018 season:

U13/1              Kate Middleton

U13/2              Michelle Stewart

U13/3              Kate Malouf

U15/1              Tim Ford

U15/2              Sonia Panek

U17/1              Bridey McElligot and Georgia Ryan

U17/2              Coaching Position Open

While the coaches are getting ready to get the season under way we ask that you appreciate their time and effort given freely to their teams.  If you have any questions or concerns it is best to contact me on 0403 601 470 so that I can assist you as the coaches are purely there for your girls.

Now is a good time to register your girl’s VNA (as it gets hectic up to the start of the season) so getting this done early is a godsend: https://vic.netball.com.au/membership/netball-victoria-membership/. There is a no registration/no play policy – this is purely to protect your girls as it covers them if they happen to get injured on court.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for the hours you already put in to making netball a successful competition, for not only Barwon Heads, but for your girls as well.  There are always plenty of jobs on offer and it is a great way to get to know other parents and get in to the spirit of the game.
