Captains Club 2017

BHFNC News – Captains Club 2017

A State of the Union Address from VP Tim Goddard:
Fellow Seagull fans,
2017 brings with it many things.  Some good, like the local footy players*and netballers* who are shimmering with exalted excitement about the upcoming season.
The Barwon Heads Football and Netball Club is a glass half full type.  Or, in local parlance, the tide is always on the way in sort of place.  It is a great place to be involved in on many levels.
For some, membership of the Captains Club is the only place to be.  Branded gear, weekly updates, inner sanctum access, a drink card and knowledge that you are part of something greater than the sum of its parts.
How do I join?
Either at the Club or via the Clubs new website – www.barwonheadsfnc.org.au
Click on the Membership tap on the front page then on the right hand side of the Membership page there is a Captains Club option.  Click on that and follow the steps.
As noted above there are Membership Forms at the Club.
How much?  $250  stand, $500 for those more generous (a double Membership).
OR
If you are the parent and have paid your child/young adults Membership, it is only $190. Why?  Part of the junior Membership is a Social Membership for one parent and that $60 amount is deducted off.  Happy Days.
What is going on?
Practice Games – this Saturday at home against South Barwon (11/3) then Thompson at home the following Saturday (18/3). Come on down, sign up and drop your jumpers off so they can be re-badged with 2017.
The first game of the year is at home in April 1 against Newcomb.  Angelsea away Round 2 then the Easter BLOCKBUSTER against Ammos at home. This will be our first Easter Saturday game for eons.  Make sure it is a cracker.
One last thing, we have a Music Trivia night on Saturday the 25/3 as well.  All are welcome (in fact, encouraged).
Get on board the good ship Seagull for 2017.

*by footy players and netballers I mean everyone from our next generation of netball stars in our netta program, the Aus kickers, our burgeoning junior girls footy players, our junior players of both, our mid week AFL 9’s group and of course our senior players of both netball and footy.  We are one, but we are many.
