TEIA MILES RETURNS HOME

Barwon Heads Football Club is very excited to announce that TEIA MILES has signed with his junior club for the 2020 season. Miles was delisted at the end of the 2019 season and played 5 seasons at Hawthorn after being drafted with pick 49 in the 2014 National Draft. TEIA played 12 AFL games and was a member of Box Hill’s (VFL) premiership in 2018.

TEIA will play VFL with Geelong and his aligned club will be Barwon Heads.

Football Director Brendan Curry said – “It is very exciting for Barwon Heads to have Teia aligned with his junior club in 2020. Obviously Teia’s number one goal is to have a great season at Geelong in the VFL and we support that 100% and hope that he can reignite his AFL career.

Barwon Heads is committed to have former players return to the fold and it is terrific that Teia always wanted to link up with the Heads again. He has very close mates currently playing at Barwon Heads and if the opportunity arises that he is available to play with us in 2020, he knows that he will be in a very supportive environment.”

Cheers,

Brendan Curry (Football Director)
