The NAB AFL Auskick program is available to boys and girls aged 5-12 years of age (children must be turning 5 in the calendar year). Through Weekly sessions children will learn the skills of the game in a fun and safe environment.
BHFNC Auskick program runs for 12 weeks on a Friday evening 5-6pm at the Howard Harmer Reserve. Coaching sessions are followed by a gold coin donation sausage sizzle, which is sponsored by Benno’s Meating Place and IGA Barwon Heads.
IMPORTANT: All registrations and payments must be completed online through the Auskick Website www.aflauskick.com.au prior to starting Auskick.
You can register as long as your child has turned 5 years old by the time they start.
We always need extra hands to help with the cooking and serving of snags, behind the bar and most of all on the ground, the more parents that get involved the better our sessions will run and the more enjoyment the kids will have.
Throughout the season we aim to have family nights with Pizza or Pies and generally finish on a parents v’s kids game. We also have the opportunity for grade 2+ students to attend and play a halftime grid game at an AFL game and the Super Clinic held at Simmonds Stadium, where we get the chance to meet players from the Geelong Cats.
